THE TEAM

Dave Faulkner

Co-founder
  1. Was a school principal at age 24.

Was absolutely winging it. Thank goodness for the phenomenal wing-women leading alongside him!

  2. Was named Young Western Australian of the Year for his dedication to education.

Has not let us forget this. Regularly brings out this fact to win an argument.

  3. Co-founded Education Changemakers, which was acquired by Go1 ten years later.

Started a company, sold a company, started another one. Classic Dave.

  4. Became SVP of Customer at Go1, leading global learning strategy (and 170 staff).

Went corporate. Wore slightly better shirts. Still talked about learning the whole time.

  5. Has keynoted globally, including at Bett UK with Sir Ken Robinson.

Genuinely great on stage. Insufferably high energy levels afterwards.

Maddie Scott-Jones

Co-founder
  1. Like Dave, started her career in the classroom.

Unlike Dave, followed all of the rules and was a goody-two-shoes, even as a grown up.

  2. Holds three master’s degrees in education and leadership.

    Three. We’ve stopped asking why.

  3. Was Chief Learning Officer at Education Changemakers before it was acquired by Go1.

Spent 7 years working with and in schools that were trying to get better. Turned out to be quite the education.

  4. Became VP of Learning Services at Go1, supporting learning design and delivery for global clients.

Led learning for companies across the globe while somehow still replying to every email same-day. It’s annoying.

  5. Designs and delivers learning and strategy that is purposeful, practical, and built to last.

Will absolutely tell you if your learning program is bad. Nicely. But she will tell you.

Josselyn Leyton

Customer Success Manager
  1. Holds a degree in Economics from Colombia.

Flew halfway around the world with her degree. Stayed for the good coffee.

  2. Has worked in corporate administration across Melbourne, keeping complex operations running.

The person everyone quietly relies on. Knows where everything is. Always.

  3. Volunteered with Education Changemakers before joining TLW.

Before Joss joined the team officially, she was already showing up for the work. Honestly, this is the most Joss thing imaginable.

  4. Speaks fluent Spanish.

    Sí, really.

  5. Competes in Ultimate Frisbee at international tournament level.

Yes, it’s a real sport. No, you cannot beat her.

  6. Makes sure TLW’s clients are looked after, projects stay on track, and nothing falls through the cracks.

Working with TLW just feels easy. Joss is a big reason why.

Working with us is straightforward and fun.

We ask good questions, focus on what matters, and design learning that people actually use.
